We woke up early on a January morning to catch some views of the Chicago Skyline - don't let their smiles fool you, it was frigid! Albeit, warm for a Chicago winter morning so we were optimistic. We then drove to Indiana Dunes State Park for a change in scenery. (If you've never been, I highly recommend a visit. It was great in the winter so I'm sure it's absolutely marvelous in the summer.) The winter sun had a warm, buttery glow; the Chiberian tundra was in full force; and the rest is magic.
