These two cuties are the sweet daughters of my cousin Rachel.  Elise is 4 and Charlotte just turned 7 months old.  I went to visit my family in Grand Rapids, MI to take Charlotte's 6 month old photos and it turned into a 2 day photoshoot.  We. Had. So. Much. Fun.  

One day we went to Fredrick Meijer Gardens to see all of the butterflies and the other we set up our own photo studio as my aunt's house.  I also partnered with Overgrowth Floral out of Grand Rapids to make the flower crowns for the girls.  They did an unbelievable job!  They were so beautiful and delicate, but the flowers lasted over 3 days on the crowns!  If you are in need of a florist for a wedding or other event,  I highly recommend Overgrowth - they are natural and stunning and you won't be disappointed.    Overgrowth and I are thinking about doing a pop up 'Mommy and Me' photoshop in Grand Rapids where you can sign up for a mini photo session with you and your kiddos and have multiple flower props at your disposal!  If you're interested or think that's a good idea, drop me a line at photographybymayden@gmail.com so we can gage interest and start to figure out the details!

But back to these sweet girls. Charlotte is one of those babies that is happy no matter what.  We stuck her in a tin pail and she even thought that was hilarious.  You can do no wrong with Charlotte.  I think she is going to grow up into one very special, loving, joyful woman.  I loved hanging out with her, her sister, her mamma, and her grandma.  So thankful I get to call them family.
