Becca || Top Knot Tuesday
If you follow me on Instagram, you will remember that I posted this picture of my Top Knot last Friday saying that TopKnotFridays aren't a thing, but they should be. After that post, I decided first, that alliteration is king, and second, that Top Knot Tuesday isn't enough of a thing and I'm going to make it one...or at least give it a hashtag.
So starting this week, every Tuesday I am going to post an image of a Top Knot on my Instagram and make #TopKnotTuesday happen! I've never done something like this before; it will be my first weekly hashtag and I think it should be really fun! Now, obviously we don't want to only see my little high perched bun - that would be boring - so that's why I need YOU to participate in this fun project with me!
If you are a proud Top Knot wearer and aren't afraid to show it, post an image of your 'do in all its glory to Instagram with the hashtag #TopKnotTuesday in the caption (you can tag @erikadenhoed too if you'd like). Every week I will go through the photos and choose one to feature on my Instagram feed and give the contributor a shout out! So exciting. Top Knots are about to take Tuesdays by storm. Can't wait to see you there! Happy grammin' y'all!
Now without further ado, let me introduce Becca Strasburg. She is an avid Top Knot wearer so clearly I had to spotlight her in this post. She is also a marathon runner, a graphic designer (she designed the Mayden logo!), and an all around awesome chick.
We went to the Lincoln Park Conservatory to celebrate Becca and capture her and what makes her awesome. I'm so happy I get to call this lovely lady with an infectious smile my friend.
Fun Fact: the crown you will see Becca wearing is actually an olive wreath that her mother made for her to don when she crossed the finish line of the Chicago Marathon last year! It usually sits on a shelf, but when you go to a conservatory for a photo shoot, you've gotta bring an olive leaf crown amIright?
