A year later, and I am so excited to finally be able to share Abbey and John's wedding! First, because it's beautiful and they are two of my favorite people. But second, because their wedding was the catalyst of my work being featured for the first time in print! Abbey and John's beautiful winter wedding appeared in Modern Luxury Brides and I have it proudly displayed on my coffee table.
Throughout the whole wedding, each experience was sprinkled with special details. The day started feeling like Christmas morning at Abbey's childhood home. While getting ready, Abbey used a wooden bowl her grandfather carved to hold her ring. The 100's of birch escort card holders were hand cut by Abbey's dad. In classic Chicago style, it was a frigid day so we did the first look and portraits in the Lincoln Park Conservatory. It was so cold that my lens fogged up as Abbey and John saw each other for the first time! I love those images. The fog put everything in a haze and I imagine the glowing light is pretty close to what Abbey and John were seeing at that moment.
Abbey and John, happy one year anniversary! I hope your new adventures in Colorado are incredible! Miss you two! xo.
