I like to think that I have an ability to make most people loosen up, get comfortable, and have a good time. But, with Erica and Chris, I felt like I was on the receiving end all evening. From the moment they walked into the bar where we were going to share a drink before the session, everything was easy. breezy. (but no covergirl). People like Erica and Chris are why I love my job. They're in love and their love is easy. This is one of my favorite sessions and it's hardly because of anything I did. Most of what you see here is just a product of Erica and Chris being Erica and Chris. I said multiple times, "wait, I like what you're doing better, just ignore me! You're perfect."
We started on Fullerton under a building labeled "Perfection," and I couldn't think of a better beginning to the rest of the night. We stopped by Erica and Chris' abode where we captured them with their pup, Gracie, in their community garden right outside their apartment in Logan Square. Erica said she should've known Chris was the one because he was the first man Gracie ever liked when they first met. We then headed over to Humbolt park where the light was just dreamy. This was one day that Chicago did not disappoint.
Erica and Chris, I am SO STOKED for your wedding in March. You guys are the best. Cheers.
